Bikeway Cleanup in Arlington, April 26, 2014

Please join the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee in a spring cleanup of the Minuteman Bikeway in Arlington. The cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 26 from 9:30am to 1:00pm. Steady rain postpones to Sunday, April 27. The Bikeway has accumulated an unusual amount of trash this winter. The trash is especially dense from Water St. to the High School and Arlington Heights to the town line. There will also be a cleanup of the No Name Brook to ensure proper drainage. We will first meet at the three locations listed below then fan out along the path.

**Arlington Heights, on the path by the Park Ave. Bridge. Led by Christopher Tonkin.

**No Name Brook (the small brook beside the path starting at the lumber yard and ending at Taylor Rentals), led by David White

**Arlington Center, on the path at Mill Street, led by Stephan Miller.

**East Arlington, on the path at Thorndike Field, led by Chad Gibson.

Bring gloves if you have them. Trash bags will be provided.
For further information, contact Stephan Miller via email (steffmiller@mac.com ) or by phone (781-641-2845).

If you are unable to make it to one of the meeting locations at 9:30. You can work anywhere along the path in Arlington but you must supply your own bags. Please leave filled bags and other refuse where the DPW will have access to them with their trucks (preferably at the meeting locations or other major intersections). If you leave filled bags at a location other then those listed, let me know so that I can have them picked up.

We hope to see you there,
Stephan Miller
