Historical markers

Eight panels containing historical information are installed along the Arlington portion of the Minuteman Bikeway, beginning in East Arlington by Lake Street and ending with this sign in Arlington Heights.

This panel is titled Arlington Heights and the Great Meadows Beyond. It covers the changes that the railroad brought about in Arlington, among other topics. The bikeway is now situated on this railroad corridor.

Bikeway mural

You can't miss the bright mural on the outside wall of the Bike Stop, adjacent to the bikeway in Arlington (near Brattle Street).
